My name is Chase Hammer.
I am the owner and sole designer of the
house plans you will find here at Hammer
Home Design.
I have been designing for
several years. I got my start
designing structural roof and floor systems
for residential and commercial projects.
For years, I worked off of other designers'
plans, most of which were poorly drawn and
full of major structural mistakes. It
occurred to me, that with my experience and
a little extra time and effort in the
drafting process, I could deliver quality
plans that come together the same way on the
job site as on paper.
I take my time and try to predict any problems which may
occur during construction, rather than expecting the contractor or builder
to "cross that bridge when they come to it." This way of doing things may
seem a little unorthodox to some, but I think it is a necessary step to
ensure a fast and smooth build.
We all dream of living
somewhere elegant and peaceful. My
designs are created to help you achieve
these goals.
All house plans featured
here are designed to meet my high
expectations. If I personally wouldn't
live in a house that appears on my website,
I wouldn't sell the plans either.
